Several clubs have successfully applied to this fund over recent years, predominantly for drainage projects.
 
If you have issues that you thank could be eligible, and are keen to pursue this funding opportunity, get back to me, not Dan, as these applications are best routed initially via this office.

Subject: Sport England Protecting Playing Field Fund

For information the Sport England Protecting Playing Fields Fund re-opens for another round tomorrow with a closing date of 9th February 2015.

 

As a reminder, key features are:

 

         25 years security of tenure is needed

         Any turf works can be applied for i.e. new ground, square extension or renovation, drainage

         Clubs do not need to have consultant led feasibility work at this stage Sport England will appoint a consultant if not in place and the application is successful

         Grants can be from 20k to 65k for Clubs, up to 100k for local authorities/education sector
